About the Benefit Dinners

History and Honourees

Frank Lowy-2009 AAA Ltd Benefit Dinner .JPG

AAA Ltd follows the model established in New York by having Benefit Dinners in Australia that recognise prominent Australians and Americans who have contributed to the relationship between Australia and the US. To celebrate AAA Inc.’s fiftieth anniversary in 1998, a dinner was held in New York featuring Rupert Murdoch AC as the guest of honour. Benefit Dinners have been held annually since that date. Proceeds were used to establish an Education Fund to promote further interchange between the United States and Australia.
