Corporate Programme with Douglas Feith

On 8 June, AAA hosted its second Corporate Programme - an evening of topical business conversation and networking.

Speaker Douglas Feith, a guest of the US Studies Centre for its National Summit on the 9/11 Decade shared insight on world developments since 9/11 - from geopolitics, peace and stability to freedom, democracy and human rights.

US College Night with College Consulting International

AAA and the US Studies Centre hosted a US College Night on 30 June at the AAA office in Sydney. Georgia Fox, Founder, College Consulting International spoke to high school students and their families about the US college admission process.

2011 American Political Science Association Congressional Fellowship Scholar

AAA announced the award of the 2011 American Political Science Association Congressional Fellowship to Mr Andrew Brookes.

Andrew Brookes is a lawyer specialising in energy and climate change matters. He has advised a range of government and corporate clients on emissions trading, renewable energy, carbon capture and storage, electricity and gas regulation and energy sector transactions. While practicing as a lawyer, Andrew completed a research Masters in International Politics at the University of Melbourne. His thesis explored the procedural and communicative fairness of the negotiations within the international climate change regime.

Founded in 1953, the APSA Congressional Fellowship Program is the nation's oldest and most prestigious congressional fellowship. For further information regarding APSA and the Congressional Fellowship, click here.
