Over 150 AAA Ltd members and guests of Major League Baseball gathered in Sydney for an evening celebrating America’s favourite pastime, baseball. The event was held at James Squire Brewhouse and Restaurant, King Street Wharf, Sydney.

Peter Boylan, relief pitcher for the Atlanta Braves attended, along with Tom Nicholson, Director of Major League Baseball International in Australia, and his staff.

Also attending the Sydney event was 17-year-old Baulkham Hills native, Aird Byron, who signed with the Detroit Tigers this year.

Luke Elvy, presenter for Fox Sports and Fox Sports News interviewed Peter Boylan for the guests at the beginning of the evening.

Guests were treated to Budweiser beer, American hot dogs, French fries, hamburgers and other ‘baseball-themed’ goodies. Everyone left with a gift bag full of authentic 2009 World Series merchandise, courtesy of Major League Baseball.
