ANZUS and beyond: Lunch with the US Ambassador

ANZUS and Beyond: Lunch with the US Ambassador

The United States Alliance has been the cornerstone of Australia’s defence and foreign policy for more than 60 years.

But with the growth of new partnerships in the Asia-Pacific region - and new challenges in the region and beyond - what is the future of our relationship with Washington?

As Australian military forces once more deploy in with the United States and other coalition partners - this time to combat the advance of ISIL in the Middle East region - join us for an important lunch with US Ambassador John Berry.

Ambassador Berry will discuss the US-Australia alliance and its role in ensuring the future strength and prosperity of both nations – and take questions from the floor.

Don’t miss this special Melbourne Press Club event.
