The Association offers Fellowships of up to US$40,000 to Australian researchers wishing to undertake advanced research (graduate or postgraduate) in the U.S.

NOW OPEN: AusArt Fellowship for the Fine Arts 2014

Up to $30,000 - applications close 30 April 2014

The American Friends of the National Gallery of Australia Inc., in conjunction with the American Australian Association, is offering a scholarship for an Australian graduate or post graduate student of the Fine Arts or Curatorial Studies wishing to further their studies in the United States. Students working on visual arts are particularly encouraged to apply.

AAA & Citi Lunch with special guest Mr Rupert Murdoch AC

On Wednesday 23 October 2013 the American Australian Association together with Citi hosted a small private lunch with special guest Rupert Murdoch AC. It was an opportunity to speak about the Association and its stewardship of the United States Studies Centre and US Asia Centre in Perth.

NSW Parliament awards AAA a Certificate of Commendation

On Friday 25 October 2013 the American Australian Association Ltd. were special guests at NSW Parliament House and were awarded a Certificate of Commendation for its work, particularly its Education Fellowships.

The award was presented by NSW Parliamentary Secretary The Hon Marie Ficarra MLC
to AAA Deputy Chair & CEO Hon John Olsen AO and two representative  fellowship recipients Deanna D’Alessandro and Nicholas Blair.

The American Australian Association and United States Studies Centre held a farewell reception for the Honourable Jeffrey L. Bleich, U.S. Ambassador to Australia on 7 August in Sydney.
