About Us
The American Australian Association Ltd. was incorporated as a
limited liability company in Sydney on May 16, 2006. It is a non-profit
organisation devoted to relations between the US and Australia
and is affiliated with the US-based American Australian Association
(www.americanaustralian.org)
which was established in 1948 with similar objectives.
The purposes of the Association in Australia are to promote friendship,
cooperation and understanding between the peoples of the United
States and Australia and New Zealand, and to strengthen relations
between these countries through creating a better understanding
of their cultures and societies.
The Association will develop and undertake educational scholarships
and programmes, conferences and seminars and other cultural events
which will aid in the development of the US and Australian bilateral
relationship.

WNTG! The Association Launches its Monthly Wednesday Night Get-togethers!
The American Australian Association held a reception to welcome incoming US Consul General Judith R. Fergin and her husband Gregory to Sydney on September 13th 2007.
We are launching our monthly get-togethers, held on the third Wednesday of the month.
DATE: Wednesday 21st May
TIME: 6:00 - 8:00pm
VENUE: James Squire's Brewhouse & Restaurant, King Street Wharf, Sydney.

Great White Fleet Centenary Dinner/Dance
As part of the Great White Fleet Centenary celebrations in August 2008, the American Australian Association is holding a dinner/dance at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney on Saturday, August 23rd 2008.
